Ginger Roasted Broccoli

Never Eat Broccoli When There Are Cameras Around 😛

There are two kinds of people in the world- One who loves broccoli and others who hate it. 😛 Though there are many benefits of eating broccoli still we don’t like to eat it. It seems like cauliflower but nowhere close to the taste of cauliflower.

Since now I was from the second category where people hate broccoli. But found a super quick and tasty recipe which changed my mind about broccoli 😛 😀
Broccoli comes with many benefits like, It has a strong, positive impact on our body’s detoxification system. It is a very good source of dietary fiber, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin E, manganese, phosphorus, choline, vitamin B1, vitamin A (in the form of carotenoids), potassium and copper.
The easiest way of having broccoli other them steaming is roasted broccoli with ginger paste. You can lemon for tempering.
Serves 2
Ingredients:

  • 1 Small broccoli (cut into medium florets)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • Black pepper powder
  • Ginger paste
  • Red chili flakes
  • Salt
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

Recipe:
Step 1- Wash the broccoli florets properly and drain the water using kitchen towel
Step 2- Add oil, black pepper powder, salt, ginger paste and red chili flakes and mix well

Step 3- Preheat oven at 400ºF and line a baking tray with aluminum foil

Step4- Roast broccoli for 15-20mins and turn off the oven. Add lemon juice for tempering and serve

Easiest and yummy way to include broccoli into your diet.
