Serves 4
Ingredients:
For Chicken Marination And Deep Frying
- Chicken drumsticks – 8
- 1/2 Cup All purpose flour
- 1 Tsp Black pepper powder
- Salt as required
- Corn Slurry (1/4 cup corn starch + required water)
- Bread crumbs
- Oil for deep frying
For Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Red chilli sauce
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Chinese seasoning
- 1 Tsp Soy sauce
- Salt as required
- 1/4 Cup Corn slurry (1 tsp cornstarch + 1/4 cup water)
Mix the ingredients in a bowl to use later.
Other Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp garlic, finely chopped or minced
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
Let’s learn step by step recipe with pictures for Crispy Fried Chicken Drumsticks With Chinese Sauce
Recipe:
Step 1- Wash the drumsticks and pat dry them using a kitchen napkin.
In a large mixing bowl- take all purpose flour, black pepper powder, and required salt. Mix using a fork.
Now coat the chicken drumsticks well with the prepared marination. Do not add water in this step


Step 2- Heat oil in a deep pot for frying. Once the oil is medium-hot, dip one drumstick at a time in the slurry and then coat it well with bread crumbs


Step 3- Gently drop the drumsticks in the pot for frying. You can fry as many drumsticks at a time depending on the size of the pot
Fry until the chicken is soft and tender from the inside and crispy from the outside. Transfer to a plate and fry the remaining drumsticks


Step 4- Once all the drumsticks are fried. Turn flame to high, fry all the drumsticks for 1minute and transfer to a plate. Following double fry method makes the drumsticks crispier

Step 5- Heat 2tbsp oil in a frying pan, saute chopped garlic until golden brown. Keep the flame to medium-low and add the prepared sauce and stir for a minute


Step 6- Turn off the flame and gently toss the chicken drumsticks in the pot to coat well with the sauce. Serve warm with vegetables fried rice and enjoy
