“Coriander Is Medicine For Digestion”
Taste Bhi, Health Bhi aur Easy Bhi 😉 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup rice (soak for 30mins)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 to 3 cloves
- 2 Green cardamom
- ½ inch cinnamon
- 4 to 5 black peppers
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- a pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 medium potato(chopped)
- ⅓ green peas
- 1.5 cups water
- salt
For coriander paste
- ½ cup chopped coriander leaves
- 3 Chopped green chillies
- ½ Teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ Teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2 Slice of ginger
- 3-4 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp grated coconut
Recipe:
Step 1- Take coriander paste ingredients in a grinder and grind till smooth paste. Add little water to make smooth paste
Step 2- Heat ol in a pressure cooker and add bay leaf, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and black pepper. Sauté for 1minute
Step 3- Add chopped onions and fry till they become golden brown
Step 4- Add coriander paste, add turmeric powder and mix well
Step 5- Add chopped potato and green pean and fry for 1/2- 1minute
Step 6- Add soaked rice, salt and 1.5 cup of water and close the lid of the cooker and cook for 2 whistles.
Step 7- Let the pressure settle down and serve with Raita.
